Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, Relational, Strengths-based
My approach is grounded by compassion and psychodynamic principles that help foster strong collaboration aligned with client goals, and informed by evidence-based practices. I bring curiosity, warmth, and over a decade of clinical experience to help bring focus to clients’ strengths and struggles alongside developing the skills to facilitate meaningful change. I deeply believe in the potential in everyone, and gladly meet clients where they are each step of the way.
My style is also reflective of my life experiences, which includes working with children as young as 18 months to adults from diverse backgrounds and cultures in college and universities, private practice, and community agencies. Over the years, I have found that engaging in any endeavor to achieve meaningful change takes courage and perseverance - but working together, clients will find that empathy is transformative. Habits can be changed. And lasting change requires self-awareness, intention, and practice.

I spent over a decade of my career working with underserved communities, including at Homeless Prenatal and FACESSF in San Francisco. Thousands of people benefit from their services and I am grateful for these organizations endeavoring to empower and transform lives for the better.
