Therapy Style

I have been working online and in private practice for over 10 years. I help individuals, couples, families, and groups. I am effective in dealing with issues related to PTSD, depression, anxiety, stress, transitions, life skills, disabilities, career goals, military life, family, marital and couples challenges, etc. I am glad that you've made the first step by reaching out for help. I want you to know that this is a safe place where you can be open and talk without the fear of judgment. My counseling style is eclectic and tailored to your situation and what works best for you. I am empathetic, compassionate, and caring about your overall well-being. I offer workable therapeutic goals and specialize in person-centered, family systems, cognitive behavioral, and solution-focused therapy methods. During the therapeutic process, I can help you organize your thoughts and sort things out so that you can ease your emotional distress and work towards overcoming your life struggles. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage. I am proud of you for getting started!

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I love to help others succeed at their personal and professional goals. I am extremely passionate about teaching and also learning about people's thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I am genuine and I empathize with positive regard toward others under my professional care. I like to help my clients identify negative thoughts and choose more rational ones through behavior activation. This will help them make wiser choices, engage in healthier behaviors, and improve their overall well-being.

What are your interests outside of work?

I love to dance, be in nature, cook, read, do puzzles, listen to music, and travel.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

I pray and meditate daily to help me stay spiritually connected, focused, and in a good mental space.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by praying, practicing daily meditation, doing breathing exercises, and doing yoga.
