My Therapy Style

I often work with people struggling with issues related to trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Throughout our counseling sessions, I work to meet you wherever you are in your mental health journey and offer a safe place where you can work through tough situations with unbiased feedback, and without fear of being judged. I operate from a trauma-informed perspective, utilizing your strengths and personal goals to help you become your best self. Together, we will ease into the counseling process and make sure that you are comfortable each step of the way!

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional after wanting to be in the counseling field all throughout high school. At that time, I was always very interested in humans behaviors. I took a detour in my 20s, and became a teacher. This detour showed me that I wanted to help people in a deeper, more meaningful way than teaching allowed which ultimately led me to pursue my passion of becoming a mental health professional.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love going to theme parks on the weekends! I also enjoy taking hikes and doing events outdoors.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

One thing that I do daily is take walks throughout my day. Moving and getting sunshine really helps me stay focused and grounded.

How do you recharge?

I recharge by making sure that I have some me time every night. This allows me to unplug and reset my mind.

Do you have any pets?

I have one cat. Her name is Pebbles! She loves to greet us at the door every time we come home and she lives for cuddles.
