Therapy Style

I have spent the past nine years working in a variety of settings including community health centers and VA medical centers. My specialties are working with individuals with a history of depression, trauma, anxiety, and people experiencing difficulties coping with different life stressors. I also have extensive experience working with older adults and their families.

I work using a cognitive behavioral framework to assist my clients. I provide evidence-based psychotherapies as I integrate research into my practice to deliver culturally appropriate interventions. I believe in client-centered care and in providing my clients with autonomy to make the changes they want to make to increase their quality of life.
