I have specialized training and experience helping individuals with trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, life transitions, and racial issues. I guide my clients through healing by gaining insight and knowledge as well as learning to cope and effectively handle challenges. I have experience working with clients with diverse backgrounds.
My goal is to support clients as they journey to become their best selves. I embrace each person I come in contact with by providing empathy, developing therapeutic rapport, identifying strengths, prioritizing their goals, and helping them cultivate a greater understanding of themselves that will lead to growth.
MA - Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Trinity Washington University
I became a mental health professional because I grew up witnessing the impact of untreated mental health disorders and substance abuse. I wanted to reduce the stigma and decrease the barriers to the black community accessing and receiving treatment.
I enjoy travel, time with family, reading, sports, hiking, camping, and concerts
Prioritizing my sleep and drinking water.
Money is our adopted Pitbull and Toothless is our Cat! They cuddle and sleep together which is adorable to see.
