Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I am passionate about understanding how people think and behave but mostly because being of service to others is such meaningful work.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

One thing I do daily to support my well-being is compose a short gratitude list. Practicing gratitude helps me highlight the positive, leading to overall better mood and a more balanced outlook on my life.

What book have you read more than once?

Peace is Every Step by Thich Nhat Hanh. This book offers such a beautiful and simple outlook on the benefits of mindfulness and reading it sporadically helps me stay regular and intentional in my mindfulness practice.

How do you recharge?

I love spending time with my family, our dog Blue, and taking in the natural beauty and great weather of South Florida.
