 About the role

Octave is looking for a Senior Recruiter to join our growing Corporate Recruiting team! As a Recruiter at Octave, you’re passionate about talent acquisition and candidate experience. You'll be an expert in building both relationships with leaders across the organization, and talent pipelines across a variety of teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute sourcing and closing strategies for corporate positions
  • Lead the full cycle recruiting process: identify, engage, evaluate, and close top candidates
  • Use data, your experience, and industry trends to create sourcing and closing strategies for a diverse slate of candidates
  • Provide a high touch candidate experience through all aspects of the recruitment funnel; develop trust-based relationships with candidates, gaining a close understanding of their requirements and concerns
  • Recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing new recruiting processes and fine tuning standard processes 
  • Lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company projects and initiatives
  • Promote Octave’s employer brand

Experience, Skills, Knowledge And/or Abilities

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience
  • 1+ years of technical recruiting experience
  • Demonstrable ability to partner with and influence business leaders
  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to create and execute passive sourcing strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage time and drive progress without direct oversight
