I became a mental health professional because I love to see how the baby steps we take lead into bigger steps, which ultimately correlates to positive change and growth!
My interests outside of work are spending time with my husband and two children, trying new restaurants, and exploring new places.
One thing that I do daily that supports my mental and emotional well-being is listening to my favorite bachata and salsa music! This is always a fun and helpful way to reset myself.
The book that I have read more than once is Joyce Meyer's Battlefield of the Mind. This book incorporates faith, a change in perspective, and insight that has been helpful.
My favorite non-profit is a disability-based workshop in NJ. This is when I confirmed that I wanted to purse my Master in Social Work degree.
I recharge each day by organizing my home, preparing and planning for the next day, and sticking to a great sleep routine.
My pet's name is Casey! She is 14 years old, and a Puggle. My favorite story is as a puppy, we would keep her in our kitchen while we were at work. We had a simple door to keep her in that area, but thought it was a great idea to place a 10 pound bag of sand to support the door. Needless to say, we came home to sand everywhere and were vacuuming for days!
