My Therapy Style

My approach to therapy revolves around putting my clients at the center of the process. This means tailoring treatment to suit your specific needs and preferences. It could involve processing through deep-rooted issues, equipping you with coping mechanisms and practical skills, or even collaboration to problem solve. For me, being a therapist is a profound privilege to walk alongside my clients on their journey towards self-discovery and growth. I see each client as an individual with unique experiences, challenges, and aspirations. My role is to support them in realizing their vision for themselves and helping them navigate through whatever obstacles they may encounter along the way.

Get to Know Me

Why did you become a mental health professional?

I became a mental health professional because I have always loved to listen and help people through life's challenges and transitions. I believe in the power of empathy and active listening to create a safe space for individuals to share their experiences and emotions. Being a mental health professional was not just about offering professional expertise, but also about being present, understanding, and genuinely caring for the well-being of each individual. This ongoing journey of learning and empathy continues to drive me forward, shaping my practice as a mental health professional.

What are your interests outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy being in nature and outdoor activities such as going to parks and hiking, or if I'm home, I may splurge on occasional Netflix comedy or drama, or cook food for my family. I used to engage in sports such as tennis and weight training.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your well-being?

One daily practice that supports my mental and emotional well-being is managing my expectations of what I can accomplish in the day. This helps me focus on actionable steps and maintain a sense of autonomy amidst life's uncertainties.

How do you recharge?

I take power naps and go outside to get fresh air.
