I like people. I appreciate the opportunity to help people discover or rediscover themselves and the possibilities in their lives.
I enjoy reading, especially philosophy and science fiction. I also enjoy surviving a zombie apocalypse or dystopian future in video games.
Mindfulness, meditation, kindness and compassion practices, and gratitude practices. Oh, and ice cream. Ice cream supports my mental and emotional well-being.
I have a long-hair chihuahua named Rocky. He was born without front legs and abandoned by a dumpster. We met Rocky at a rescue where he was given his name because he would sit up on his hind legs and wobble. Apparently, someone thought he looked like a bobbing boxer. Without front legs, Rocky is vulnerable to accidents because he can't protect himself, but he is so zen about everything in his life. I learn a lot from him about acceptance in life.
