I take a compassionate, analytical, and direct approach to counseling while incorporating mindfulness and meaning-making into our sessions. I specialize in grief counseling, chronic illness, mental health, depression, and anxiety. I offer both supportive counseling as well as goal-oriented and behavioral modification counseling.

I became a mental health counselor because I have an interest in the connections between mind-body-behavior-environment and how it affects a person's emotional quality of life. I enjoy learning and teaching others how to understand one's thinking patterns and their impact on mental health; how to take back control of one's quality of life for a meaningful and purposeful life; and how to cope with stressors in life.
My interests outside of work include grilling by the pool or at the beach, watching college football (Go Noles!), browsing HomeGoods for household items I don't need, working out, traveling, and hanging out with the dogs and my family.
One thing I do daily that supports my mental and emotional well-being is meditation.
My favorite non-profit is Postpartum Support International because it supports parents who need support.
I recharge by spending time outdoors.
I have two dogs, a Frenchie named Nala and a Lhaso Apso named Marino.
